(ii) cost of shuttering and reinforcement shall be paid through respective items.(iii) rendering of treatment at construction joint shall be carried out under supervision of manufacturer, cost of which shall be included in rate of these items. (iv) design of pipe support foundations, high mast foundations, miscellaneous pump foundations, transformer and other equipment foundations shall be under scope of the contractor. (v) contractor shall prepare design drawings and bar bending schedules for all rcc structures and submit the same to ucil for approval., supplying and laying precast reinforced cement concrete elements at any level using 20 mm and down graded crushed stones as coarse aggregate as per approved design mix including supply of materials / labour / tools and tackles etc. as required, formwork, mixing, laying, compacting to proper size and thickness, curing, storing, handling, transporting, erection without damage etc. but excluding cost of shuttering and reinforcement, all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of the engineer-in-charge. concrete of m25 grade with minimum cement content of 330 kg/cum note (i) excess cement, if required in design mix, with respect to the minimum cement content mentioned above, shall be paid under respective item. (ii) cost of shuttering and reinforcement shall be paid in respective items., add for consumption of extra / excess cement, if required, in design mix concrete (item no. 23 to 26 above) over the specified minimum cement content in respective items mentioned above. note i) requirement of extra cement with respect to the minimum cement content mentioned against respective items of approved design mix of concrete to achieve the characteristic strength for each design mix must be approved by engineer-in-charge during mix design stage based on laboratory test results which must also be approved by the engineer-in-charge..(ii) payment shall be on the basis of actual quantity of cement used in mix concrete executed., supplying, installing, dismantling and removing shuttering for foundations and substructures upto plinth level in all kinds of rcc work for all leads and lifts including necessary rendering of concrete surfaces after exposure, maintaining proper quality control, supervision etc., all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of engineer-in-charge. notes for the above item nos. i) the design of formwork/staging shall be submitted by the contractor to ucil for approval before commencement of work., supplying, installing, dismantling and removing shuttering for superstructures above plinth level in all kinds of rcc work for all leads and lifts including necessary rendering of concrete surfaces after exposure, maintaining proper quality control, supervision etc., all completer as per drawings, specification and direction of engineer-in-charge. notes for the above item nos. i) the design of formwork/staging shall be submitted by the contractor to ucil for approval before commencement of work., supplying, straightening, cutting, bending, binding with 2 nos. 20 gauge annealed soft iron wire and placing in position following types of reinforcement, of all diameters to all types of rcc members in substructure upto plinth level including all lifts and leads, maintaining proper quality control, supervision, provision of necessary chairs/spacers, tying and bending of dowel bars, cover blocks of same grade of concrete, preparation of bar bending schedule and getting the same approved from ucil before construction, all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge. thermo-mechanically treated (tmt) bars of grade fe-500d conforming to is1786. note for above items. i) the supply of fe 500d tmt bars conforming to is 1786 (latest) shall be fromm/s sail, iisco, rinl, tata steel and jindal from their own plants rolled from virgin material only.ii) reinforcement steel bars from rerollers of the above manufacturers will not be accepted iii) no extra payment shall be made on account of rolling margin and wastage iv) contractor shall supply copies of the documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from these manufacturers (steel either directly purchased or through their dealers)and also tests from third party, if required, to be arranged at no extra cost.v) welding weights, weight of binding wires etc. shall not be measured for payment but the cost of the same shall be deemed to have been included in the quoted rate.vi) chairs and spacers provided will not be paid extra.vii) preparation of bar bending schedule for reinforcement in all painting whereever necessary/applicable, cost of scaffolding, as required, at all leads and lifts, storing, handling, transporting, erection without damage, placing in position, maintaining proper quality control etc. all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of engineer-in-charge. note i) all materials shall be from m/s sail, iisco, rinl and tata steel from their own plants rolled from virgin material only. ii) welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts etc. shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the quoted rate. iii) contractor shall supply copies of the documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from these manufacturers and also tests from third party, if required, to be arranged at no extra cost. iv) all holes will be made by drilling only. gas cutting of holes will not be permitted. v) electrodes manufactured by m/s advani oerlikon, esab india, indian oxygen and dandh secheron
